My hair has become badly damaged from mental stress that recently went through during a break up,?
It has broken off all over, and I just really need to know how to get my hair back in shape. I;ve been thinking about just cutting it short or getting some little micro breads put into my hair.

Yes dear it will grow back. Till it does I would talk to a beautician about a cute style just in time for summer. I wouldn't do beads r anything that might further stress your hair. Just having an easy to maintain hairstyle will take some stress off you. Go for it and good luck.

im sorry about your breakup. the best thing to do is take your mind off of it and keep yourself busy. I dont know if you`ve ever heard of the pilates but its a type of excerise its kind of like yoga. As for fixing your hair try either a strengthening shampoo and conditioner or a very moisturizing one. I can`t really say which shampoo and conditioner would be right for you since everyones hair is different but here are a few you might like to try
Garnier fructis for dry/damaged hair
Tresemme Anti-Breakage
Redken All Soft
Sunsilk hydra TLC
Herbal Essences Break`s Over
there are so many to choose from so just shop around and pick the one that you tihnk best suites you.
if u really dont want to cut your hair you dont have to, just get it trimmed.
Good Luck!

Stress and illness can rob your body of vitamins and minerals, which can lead to damaged skin and hair.
I was very ill a few years ago and the meds I took just wrecked my hair and skin.
What worked for me was to really make sure I had plenty of protein in my diet, as well as fresh veggies. I also took B complex vitamins, which are thought to be good for hair. My hairdresser gave me a deep conditioning treatment at every visit, frequent trims, and now my hair is as thick and healthy as it was before I became ill--which was also after a breakup, by the way.
Really think about a short-short haircut or microbeads before you do it, because they will only cover up the problem.
I hope you take good care of yourself and feel and look wonderful asap!
Good luck.

Stress *can* cause hair damage. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do for the parts of the hair that is damaged. If it's the ends, go to a salon and get it cut. Ask the stylist for advice. (Heck, sounds like a rough break-up. A new hairstyle might make you feel better.)

micro breads?
First off, stress can NOT 'damage' hair. I can understand if you were pulling on it WHILE stressed - I've had a few of those relationships myself over the years!
I would suggest going and getting a cute shorter haircut (as close to the scalp as you're comfortable with) and letting it take a break for a while. Don't get any extensions or anything... that's just gonna put more stress on the scalp.

All you need to do is get a repair & restore conditioner like pantene. You can leave it on as long as you'd like then rinse with warm and cool water. In no time your hair will be good as gold(shining like it anyway). You would also need a mositurizerso that your hair won't get dry.

The same thing happened to me. It thinned from INTENSE FEAR.
60 days of being locked in a little tiny room and people sticking needles in me.
It won't come back. It's alway going to be damaged now.
