Did you all hear comedian Richard Jeni just died?

His girlfriend called the police to say he had shot himself in the face and he later died in the hospital. The police are still investigating and haven't ruled definitely suicide as of yet. Things like that are always sad.

Suicide? I don't think so...

uh...no one else thinks the girlfriend killed him?

Suicides don't shoot themselves in "the face",

it's usually the barrell to the side of the head or

in the mouth to assure a quick death.

In fact, he was still alive when police arrived.

No witnesses, only him and her...alone.

Here's how easy it could be for her to do it and make it look like a suicide...

Jeni and the girlfriend have a falling out...

he tells her to get out and take her things with her...

she refuses to go because he supported her financially...

they argue....the girlfriend knows where Jeni keeps a gun...

girlfriend grabs the gun...Jeni tells her again to "get out"...

girlfriend loses it and out of anger shoots him in the face...

he collapses...she cleans off her prints and puts the gun in his hand....(ah, but she makes one mistake...Jeni is right-handed and the gun is found in his left hand).

she calls police and tells them..."my boyfriend just shot himself in the face"....

not "my boyfriend just committed suicide".

He was only 49 and had a pretty good career going,

what would cause him to want to kill himself...

mighty suspicious...mighty suspicious indeed.

Yes. though they havent confirmed if it was suicide or not. His girlfriend was with him and she called the cops saying that her boyfriend had shot himself in the face. Sad.

I know it is so sad he had such a great career. So Sad!
