My Laptop Mouse wont move at all! i cant get into anything on my computer to help it!?

My Laptop Mouse is frozen , it wont move at all ,i'v turned it off and on several time , still remains frozen.

Its not one of those regular mouses , it the touch point sensitive one thats on all laptops.

I really dont know what to do , arg this is my 3rd computer complication today. im really stressed and i dont know what to do , please help me.

I tryed to plug in a regular mouse , shamfully the computer isnt compatable with the type of computer mouse i have x.x i tryed every insert none of them fit.

do i have to go buy a laptop mouse? x.x

My Computer is also , Vista , I dunno' would that have anything to do with it?

I have been reboting , not hibernating.

Now im afraid to turn it on because i cant turn it off the regular way so im afraid to damange the computer.

I took my laptop to geek squad , nothing they could do.

i got a refund and bought another laptop.

:D problem fixed

    get a usb mouse and plug it in ... then maybe uninstall the touchpad from device manager and reload the driver .. maybe check the manufacturer for an updated driver for it .... make sure u do a virus scan as a precaution ...

    Plug in a regular ps/2 type mouse into the external port. A USB type might need a driver, the PS/2 wont... Then go digging for the problem...

    Just plug in any old mouse and then go look for the synaptics web site for updated drivers for your touch pad.

    Turn on the program. You mouse drivers are most likely disabled.

    Simply try a reboot, not a hibernate.
