He's abusing his authority and the natural trust and respect that students have for teachers. He's taking advantage of your age and inexperience and typical teen-age self-esteem issues and beefiting from it in a rather disgusting and selfish way.

Run, dont walk, away from this relationship and this man. You might think, well he isnt hurting me and I have consented to this relationship. However, my darling, at 16, you arent ABLE to consent to such a relationship, not developmentally and not in the eyes of the law. I would say tell your parents first, but some people's parent would be so hurt and angry that things can get out of control and be handled inappropriately. If there's a way to tell your parent(s) with a third party present (counselor for example) you might want to take advantage of that. And things will proceed from there.
