i have a broken wisdom tooth with a sharp edge. no one is taking pay patients, i have no insurance help?

It has started to cause me great pain, i have no insurance, so i called around, and NO one is taking pay patients. The pain is causing me to be unable to eat, talk, swallow water...help! It's not the tooth that hurts, it's the sharp edge digging into my gum.. it feels like a hole..it hurts soo bad.

there is a program called care credit. if you apply and are accepted you can get a credit limit up to $1,000 then all you have to do is go on their web site put in you're zip code and they give you a doctor who accepts their plan. i did not have insurance also and needed root canal real bad it helped me out. the dentist himself recommended it.

Try talking to your local hospital and see what they can do but actually i'm not sure if you can do anything without medical insurance.

Try calling your local health department. They might have the name of a dentist who accepts patients without insurance.

It is hard to picture, but could you "sand" it off. You might could take some abrasive and rub until the sharpest point is gone.
