Thats a hard one, I am a teen and my favorite place to go is the Legends. The Legends is a nice little shopping area by lots of hotels and resturants and its right by the Kansas City Speedway. I suggest going down to the legend and maybe going to Dave and Busters or there are many other resuturants also and you guys can just walk around, eat and shop and the maybe go see a movie since there is a movie thearthe right there, but if you into a big city night on the town then i suggest going to the Plaza, You can also shop there and the resturant I suggest is the ChesseCake Factory, but you may want to reserve or youll be waiting outside for 1-2 hours, but atleast youll be able to walk around and pass the time. Either one of those places your still going to have a great time.

I don't know what part of the city you are planning to stay in but one fun place for teens is Dave and Busters. It is a restaurant/arcade that is nice. Check it out. Their website is: http://www.daveandbusters.com/

The Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park and resort which might be fun for your daughters. Their website is: http://www.greatwolflodge.com/

Another place you might like to take your daughters is Crown Center. It's a nice, nice shopping center and there is a movie theatre and two live theatres there. The live theatres are the American Heartland and the Coterie. I don't know how old your teenagers are, but the Coterie is more for children and younger teens while the Heartland is showing A Dog's Life (website is AHTKC.com) which is more suited for teens and adults.

Now for fun places to take your daughters you have to go to the PLAZA! Union Station and Crown Center are another must! Swope Park is a great place to walk around! If your daughters are really into shopping also try Zona Rosa. It depends on your daughters interests but you could try the 18TH & VINE HISTORIC DISTRICT. or Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. If you don't already have hotel plans go to the Great Wolf lodge! It is a blast! I hope I helped!

I don't know about upscale restaurants, but if you are eating out during the day be sure to have a Winstead's burger. They are unique and the best you will ever have. The original Winstead's is in the Country Club Plaza that you might want to shop anyway, but there are now a couple of other Winstead's I think.

Dave and Buster's. It's an upscale restaurant/arcade. Good food and entertainment. Located in the Legends Shopping district. Have fun in KC!

Go to the Country Club Plaza and walk around. They can pick a restaurant there. Everything from Cheesecake Factory to Melting Pot to Plaza III are available and they'll love the area.

Kansas City has some of the best bar b q restaurants in the country. Gates chain is good. Tudy Lesko is a great steak place.

There are too many good ones to choose from.

Smokehouse BBQ on North Oak is KC's best BBQ. Family atmosphere.
