My 17 year old daughter broke up with her boyfriend in early November.They dated for 1 1/2 years. He won't get over her. Continually calling/texting her at all hours, buying her gifts, grovelling, leaving things in the mailbox, texting if she is talking with /or out with another guy. She has flat out told him many times, she is no longer interested in him, nor would she date him again. My husband is even meeting with his parents tomorrow to let them know about his unusual behavior. His father also texts! We are concerned with her ex's well-being, as he just can't seem to move on. Also she is going to prom with another guy, and I am concerned that her ex is going to approach her date. He has done this when she was seen at a movie with another guy (this was a friend date). She is probably going to speak with the school councelor tomorrow, as today she learned of his plans to sing her a ballad at a school function.

She is not leading him on, and doesn't answer his texts/calls, or even talk with him.

He is ruining the chance for my daughter's happiness, and I am concerned that he obviously is not stable.

Any ideas of what to say to his parents/counselor? Have you/child every had a similiar situation? What works? I am starting to think he/his family is like the mob, and the only way out is in a pine box! UGH!! But seriously, any ideas??

I am in zone 4 and would like to plant the seeds for these flowers in the next couple days. Just wondering if they plants will come back next year, although I will be getting a late start planting this year??

I am looking for a great tasting lighter punch for a HS graduation party. Since we are having soft serve ice cream, cake & creamed chicken sandwiches, a lighter punch would work the best. Thanks

How do we make a simple circuit using these items???

My daughter is doing a science project. She has painted a shoe box black, and has a photo cell inside the box with the wire ends ot the photo cell extending outside the box. She has a divider running half way down the middle of the box. At the end she has a stand to place a ball on. She has painted several different colored balls, and will place them on the stand, and wants to see the different readings using a volt meter using a potentiometer. She has a hole in one end where she will use a flash light to see how it relects/volt meter reads off the colored balls.

We are having lots of problems trying to help her hook up this simple circuit. I thanks you in advance for your input!

I am on a prom decorating committee for my HS daughters. My committee needs to come up with several prom themes to put out to a group of students so they will have the final decision on the prom theme. Last night we went to see all of the decorations from previous years....and saw there were lots of palm trees,fake tropical plants, bamboo screens etc., so since we need to be cost effective, we thought possibly we could reuse some of them. Can you think of any "COOL" themes were we can use these stored decorations, do you have any other "cool" themes? Any decorating ideas? We have to decorate the areas where the kids will be dining, dancing and the grand march area.....Please, any ideas at all would be great. We have lots of time, but are hoping the students will choose a theme this fall. Thanks

Teen daughters are having friends to go to the Barnes and Noble Harry Potter Party for the sale of the last book. I have been looking at the HP candies but they are very expensive. I have a frog candy mold that has a cavity 2 1/8 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch. I would like a filling recipe for bon bons, candy bars, etc, so I can make chocolate frogs. Any other ideas for Harry Potter snacks, treats or candies that you may have. I am also making sreen print tees for them, and they are decorating a 15 passenger van with HP. All ideas are welcome! I need some advice on how to secure the 4 inch vinyl strip at the bottom of the rear window to the window itself. It is loose, and we need to secure it to the bottom of the window. Looks like on most convertibles this is stitched on, or a glue has been used. We are replacing the top, but do not want to get a new window portion as the cost is around 500.00 for a glass window replacement.

Do you have any ideas for a party for my daughters to have to celebrate the last day of school and summer? Probably mostly girls with a couple boys invited? We don't have a pool, so a pool party is out. Remember, these are teenagers, so keep it clean please!

My daughter was running in track 4 weeks ago and twisted her ankle, but it seemed ok after rest. Two days later she stopped running the 100 to check her time with the coach. As she turned, she heard her ankle "pop". It was very bruised and swollen. We went to the Dr. and she was given an ankle brace to wear, but did not take xrays. After a couple weeks her ankle still hurt and was swollen. She had a 6hr dance class one Saturday were she was just "stepping Out" the dances to learn her placement, and after about 3 hours her ankle felt better. When she came home the swelling was down. Do you think her ankle was out of place? Now today during a walk, she lost her balance and fell. Again, lots more swelling than before, I imagine bruising to come. I have brought her to the Dr. for an initial visit and checkup. Now I have her scheduled to see the chiropractor tomorrow thinking last time it was out of place. What do you think, broken?Our daughters name is "Crash" and she is accident prone!

I was wondering if it is difficult to replace a 94 Chrysler Lebaron top? My husband is extremely handy and fixes everything around the house, but I don't know if this is something for him to tackle? Has anyone ever tried this themselves. Or even know how much it may cost to have it replaced by a professional.? Thanks for your time!

Lots of pet problems in my family....my mother has a dog that she just learned is diabetic. She has been giving "Ollie" insulin twice a day. They started giving him 17 ( I assume mm?) insulin twice a day. Ollie went back to the vet a couple days ago (due to a blood test)), and they upped the dosage to 19. Today, Ollie lost balance of his hind legs for several minutes, and they grew weak. Does anyone have any ideas if this is due to the insulin, or possibly another problem? Thanks in advance for sharing your ideas or similiar experiences.

My 11 year old cat just came back from the vet. We have been dealing with 2 seperate vets, since early January trying to find out what is ailing "Josie". Her symptoms are chronic blood in the urine, pulling her fur out in large patches, drinking a lot, and recently, a loss of appetitie. She has been given antibiotic, special cat food, both canned and hard, cosequin, urine testing had xrays and even an ultrasound....but nothing is coming up, not even an infection. Today the vet took blood, and the vet said it was very thick, and hard to get a sample/draw! Does anyone have any idea about what is wrong with "Josie". She has not been given any of the recalled pet food with wheat gluten, and everyone is stumped....so very frustrating!!

We are going to Kansas City in a couple weeks, and I am looking for a fun place to take my teenage daughters, any ideas?? Only serious replies please! Thanks!
