If we can see who starred, why won't Yahoo! let us see who thumbs downed?

This is one isolated incident out of many where I got numerous thumbs down for a good answer.I've gotten at least one for every answer that I've ever given(TF) even though many of them were chosen as best by the questioner, because someone is targetting me,but back to the point.

Shoudn't we be able to see who's doing this so that we can ask them to justify themselves?

This is the most recent of hundreds.

Update:

In keeping in the spirit of what I'm talking about,users1 and three, thumbs way down for not nearly giving an answer to the question, especially 3,because the answer I pointed out is based on fact, not opinion.

Just look at how some of these other people responded. They can't even handle a simple question without flying off the handle. Can you imagine how they'd react if they knew that someone gave them a thumbs down !!!?

The community is way too immature for people to even handle simple questions without insulting you.

Yes.Someone or a few people are targetting you,we've talked about that in the past.Simple jealosy or nothing better to do!

Noone can handle themselves properly,so we'll never see that.

From your tone of your question, the answer is obvious. If people knew who did not like their question, and gave it a thumbs down, then they would be attacking them, and sending nasty emails, and retaliating. So my answer is : We can't have that information on who gave us a thumbs down, because that sort of behaviour is exactly what Yahoo! is trying to cut down on right now, so if you are that type, (which it seems you are) it would be best to cease and desist. It is clear that you take this way too seriously. Maybe you should see someone as it may be becoming a mental issue for you.

If many people give you a thumbs down, there may be a good reason.

you may think it is good, the community may not. no we should not be able to see them. you are taking this way to serious. sometimes i give answer just to see how many thumbs down it will get. i get upset if anyone give it a thumbs up, but that last only fraction of a second. after that i move on. just remember this is for fun, and just because you think your answer is good, the community may not. the community is about all you need to know as unto who gave you thumbs down.

you may think of those questions are Dumb, yet for those human beings no remember what age, race or intercourse, that's an significant question. in case you think of they are dumb, dont provide them an answer or dont examine it. some human beings only ought to ask questions no remember how dumb they are.

"Shoudn't we be able to see who's doing this so that we can ask them to justify themselves?"

Who do you think you are?

No one has to justify anything to another user on this site, Yahoo! staff are the administrators, and everyone is entitled to their thumbs up or thumbs down opinion. I agree with Glass, that is all you need to know, if not people will get harassed!
