Wisdom teeth pain?

My wistom tooth is coming out and i'm not getting it pulled. Are there any usefull medicines I can take to help ease the pain? Or maybe homeopathic remedies. Ibuprofen/paracetamol don't seem to work.

Usually the Advil or Motrin 600-800mg works well to ease the pain and inflammation. Also try to avoid chewing anything hard or tough that can cause you to bite on the area that the teeth are erupting at. You can also try the topicals like orajel or anbesol that offer a few minutes relief. Ice packs or cold foods and drinks work well to ease the pain too. Hope I've been of some help and good luck.

You do not need an antibiotic for this, as this is the natural eruption of the teeth.

Try Anbesol. It is a topical pain reliever. It is very temporary (ie: the relief won't last long) but it may help. It's made specifically for teeth.

you have to take an anti -biotic to suppress the infection. in the initial stages of " wisdom tooth pain" it is more of an inflammatory pain and usually an pain-killer takes care of it.once it progresses further in some cases it becomes infected .then a pain-killer won't suffice.you have to take an anti-biotic along with a pain-killer.

an analgesic along with saline rinsing can give you temperory relief only..so better fix an appointment with a dentist
