Please all you my true friends, I cannot find work, please tell me where someone is hiring for sure? Please?
I have been looking for work for general clean up. I do any work that requires moving heavy material, cleaning up toilets, attics, garages, and anything else that requires someone who you just can't seem to find to do the dirty work. Please, help me, I've been looking for work now for four months with no success. I'm a nice guy and I'll end up the dirty guy if you have clean up, oh, and I also do mowing lawns, and raking leaves, and sweeping up and etc etc, anything that requires physical work. Thank you in how any of you might help me.

Have you tried the classifieds how a janitorial position or lawn maintenance or cleaning offices or cleaning homes? You can post an advertisement in the classifieds offering your services and post flyers around at grocery stores offering your lawn/cleaning services to see if anyone will call you to hire you for jobs. If you do a good job for them ask them to tell their friends and then next thing you know you'll be doing everyone's lawns or cleaning. I believe in you and know you can do it. Maybe you could learn a skill or trade like computer programming. Have you thought about furthering your education?
Update: In response to some earlier posts, I agree that the newspaper and the unemployment agency are good places to look for a job. I also agree that it may help you to be bonded. That means there is insurance for you so that you can be trusted to work and to not destroy or steal any personal property while on the job if you plan on working in cleaning residences or offices. Look around near where you live and fill out an application with each one.

You aint-a gonna find work here. I've worked all my life and the only way to get a job is to go around filling out applications, or by starting a business and then advertising in your neighborhood. And you'll need to be bonded.

Where are you? If you are willing to do any/all of that, you should be able to pick up work with no problem. Either you are looking in the wrong places or you aren't looking very hard.

Visit you local unemployment office. Check their boards. That is what the office is for. They can help you.
If you can, write up a quick resume with all your skills. Good luck.
