Maybe. Depends on which applications are used to view the images. Some apps make a "temp" copy in the temporary folder or other places. These traces can often be found after the source has been removed.

Yes and no. A person cannot see the images that are stored on your removable media but consider these two things.

1) If you do not erase the history in whatever program you were using to view these images before you get up, the next user may see what file names you were looking at.

2) If the program you were using on that computer also saves images to the hard drive for faster viewing later, there is a chance someone may see them. Obviously making sure it does not save on a public computer is quite hard due to software restrictions.

Ofcourse, you most likely can erase the history, which will not make anyone look for it. As well, most public computers erase their temp files and history at end of day. Hope that answers your question.

If you have not copied the images from the removable media drive to the computer's hard disk then no, they are only displayed, not stored on the computer.

if you are connected to a network there is a way, actually if you are connected to the internet it could be also... either you have filesharing turned on.. or a trojan on your computer which lets the hackers sneak into your computer without you even knowing about it..

my advice: use a firewall (Norton Internet Security) which alerts you when someone is trying to access your files or computer. if you say dont wanna spend money then try turning your Windows Firewall on wont be 100% safe but better than nothing.
