What does the phrase ''to have it sized'' mean?
I know some English but I'm not very good at expressions. Thanks for any help.
I was wondering if there was some figurative meaning. As in, ''you've got it all, you've got it sized.'' It doesn't seem as if it refers to a ring or something literal to me, but thanks anyway.
I appreciate the effort, but you didn't have to respond in Dutch..
''could you arranged of it keep'' is not really a sentence...I don't understand sorry.

have it sized means you will take it to a tailor , for example, and have it taken in or out (fabric cut and sewn) to fit you better. it can apply to anything really but is often used with apparel and rings.
in reference to people (per your additional comment) to "size someone up" means you can tell all about how someone is, acts, or lives their life just by looking at them. used like this... i was sizing up my sister's new boyfriend. i think it has almost a negative sense. i never heard it used the way you mention..

It may have more than one meaning, but I'm thinking of when you buy a ring but it doesn't quite fit the finger...you take it to a jeweler to have it sized. (It really should be "re-sized" but that's one of the backward expressions we use.)

No, there's no figurative meaning to it. I have never heard anyone use that expression other than when they're talking about getting their ring resized.
