i have flown w my pets carryon on airtran, delta, and frontier

i am sure that there are more though

a few words of advice, even though your cat is in a cage, harness and leash it too, they make you take it out at security and all the commotion freaks a cat out

go to the vet before hand and get a kitty sleeping pill, trust me

and during takeoff, make sure the front of the cage is facing you, becaue it is REALLY REALLY embarassing when kitty freaks out, reaches her paw out and grabs the ladys ankle in front of you

The panting, regrettably is a conventional reaction to rigidity. I traveled with my cat from D.C. to Seattle. no longer pleasant, yet she replaced into effective and that i did not provide her any drugs. A vet can prescribed some anti-stress drugs, you should ask in case your cats must have them. I placed my cat's sought after blanket and a cardboard field in the backseat. At maximum puppy shops and grocery shops they make those small, shuttle length muddle bins that artwork tremendous and are disposable. I placed velcro on the cardboard field to connect the food and water bowls. Your cats likely gained't devour or drink too a lot in the course of the holiday. i got here across that even as quickly as I had fowl or different issues my cat ought to frequently beg for she wasn't in touch. At particular circumstances too my cat ought to easily start up howling; all prevalent, yet very annoying. Your vet ought to point that the cats stay in separate businesses (that could be calming for them and also safer for yourpersistent). My cat did not opt to be in her provider and favourite to sit in the better again ledge filled into the again windshield (cats experience safer even as they are in extreme spot). strong success!

    Delta

Your pet can travel with you in the cabin for a one-way fee of $50 (to be collected at check-in) when traveling within the United States (except Hawaii), Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Pets permitted in the cabin include dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. Monkeys, pot-bellied pigs, reptiles, frogs, mice, rats, sugar gliders, and spiders are not permitted. The following restrictions apply:

Your pet must be small enough to fit comfortably in a kennel under the seat directly in front of you. Maximum carry-on kennel dimensions are determined by your flight. You must contact Delta Reservations to determine the appropriate kennel size.

Your pet must remain inside the kennel (with door secured) while in a Delta boarding area (during boarding and deplaning), a Delta airport lounge, and while onboard the aircraft.

Your pet must be at least 8 weeks old.

You may not carry on more than one pet.

Your pet in-cabin counts as one piece of carry-on baggage.

If you're traveling to Hawaii, your pet won't be able to go with you in the cabin, and other restrictions may apply. See Pets to Hawaii for more information.

Depending on your routing , check with that specific airline...........

Most carriers are suitable for pet transportation. But most airlines will not permit a pet to be taken as carry-on; check with yours. As baggage, a pet carrier should be labeled on top with a large label reading LIVE ANIMAL, so that the handlers can stow the carrier so as to allow ventilation.

You might also want to get her a DryFur pad nothing more embarrassing if she gets scared and has accident and it leaks in the plane.

The DryFur is a cushion that will keep her comfortable and if she has accident it will Dry Instantly it is also rigid so it will stay flat and under her not bunched up like puppy pads do.
