Should people lose points for reporting others?

Yes, 10 points for reporting a violation...if it is valid , you get them back.

Yes I think they should, kind of like when you ask a question you lose 5 points. It would keep people from over-doing it but still leave you the freedom to report something. I have seen very little on this site that I think should be reported, but there are a few every now and then.

I agree you should lose points for reporting and get them back if it was correct. It is actually against the rules to create a false report - check it out. I thing Yahoo has created a giant monster and would just like to ignore it in hopes that it will turn into something beautiful.

I think anyone that reports another user should have their username listed for everyone to see on the same page as the question.

No, but I sometimes wonder if we should be limited to how many we can report. So if you waste a report on someone who doesn't deserve it, you've only got so many times left.

Nope, they merely get the persons to lose their question. a good form of the time they checklist human beings writing stuff in undesirable flavor. extremely of leaving merely "???" say something regarding the question not making any experience. they have a form to checklist human beings who don't answer the question. i does not even think of roughly reporting somebody for leaving "???" although.
