Rearranging Rocks ?
In my 55 gallon I have 2 lava rocks, driftwood and another red rainbow rock, and it's been set up like that for about 3 months. I do have a large pleco, 3 botias and a Spottied Pimelodus who all hang out on the bottom of the tank, and I wanted to rearrange the rocks totally different from how they are now. I want to use the rocks as a hide out in one corner of the tank. B/C the pleco will go sick on the other fish and chase them and I wanted to give them a safeway.
Do you think the fish will mind during the rearranging, and after? I know they will get used to it again, but I may not even like it myself. Should I just let it be, I really want to give the pleco more swimming space, while providing a better hide out for the other fish.

Rearranging the tank is always a good idea (unless your fish are ill, this adds undue stress on them trying to find a new hiding place )
I don't think the fish will "Mind" and it will give them something new to explore once you are done. It is always a great idea to make their enclosed home more suitable for your fish.
so move the Furniture !

Actually changing the decorations your tank periodically is a good thing. It helps to stop a lot of aggression by breaking up any territories that your fish may have developed.
I don't think the fish really care what the tank looks like as long as they're getting food, and the water temperatures OK.

Go ahead and rearrange the rocks. The fish will be fine. It may take them a day or so to fully get used to the new layout. We have a 55g also and have 2 oscars and a picasimous, when we rearrange we usually do it when we clean the tank so it's all happening at once.
