Do you find people who constantly message you on the phone annoying?

I can appreciate the practicality of messaging someone once or twice, but holding a whole back-and-forth conversation via thumb-typing?

Oh, I know exactly how you feel. It is so irritating after about the third text message. The whole point of the phone is for you to call me. Especially if you and the person have the same plan. Even if you have text messaging included in your plan, it takes like 4 minutes to type out a full sentence that you could have said in 4 seconds.

I would, I use my cellphone for emergencies only. Maybe I'm too old for such things or something, but while many people love cell phones I find it very disrupting to get calls no matter what I'm doing or where I'm at, regardless of whether they're normal calls or text messages. It's great when there is an emergency, or when you make an appointment to meet someone at a crowded mall or outdoors event and have to find each other, but some people call each other for every little thing now. If both parties are happy that way please do, but it drives me nuts, don't do it to me!

Yes, I find it annoying. Back in the 'old days', when you were visiting with someone and the telephone rang, you would always let the caller know you were busy. Now, people will be at your house and they are all text messaging other people. I really think its like this'Yahoo answers' its addicting. Why can't people realize that life will still go on if everyone doesn't know every minute thing about you. What happened to 'mysterious-ness'?

I definitely would find that annoying- and I find repeated actual calling to be annoying too, especially when I'm trying to get something done. I never get why people can't just say it all in one message or call.

What I find annoying is people who tell off other people through a text message. If you can't have the guts to ATLEAST call, much less say it in person, don't say it at all.

Yes, messaging can get expensive. Calling me on the phone is most of the time free.

I like it when my husband texts me though, he keeps it short and sweet.

No, that is my preferred method of communication - I find talking to the person more annoying than anything.
