Before explaining the procedure I would recommend to have a friend who knows do this for you. But in case you don't have someone who knows, you must be very careful. Firstly make sure you have turned off your PC and it's not plugged in an electrical outlet. Touch something metallic before opening the case. This is done for the static electricity to vanish from your body. Secondly open the case and locate the two hard disks. Use a screwdriver to take out the screws that connect the hard disks with the computer. The hard disks are connected with your pc with 2 kinds of wiring. Firstly with a plug which contains a group of coloured wires (red, yellow, black) which is used for providing electricity to the hard disks and secondly with a usually grey wide stripe which connects the hard disks with your motherboard. At the place where all those wires are on the hard disks there is a tiny black plastic thing located. This thing, from the way that it is plugged, you can define which hard disk is your primary and which is your second (slave). On each hard disk there is a pattern which explains how you will put the black thing in the pins of the hard disk. You can use your fingernail in order to take out the plastic thing and put it again as the pattern explains. The way you'll put it defines if the hard disk is primary or slave(second). You can't have two primary or two slave hard disk in your computer, so if you change your slave into a master, you must then change your master into a slave.

Hope this was useful to you!

" Wava's answer is correct, as far as it goes ".

You can Also go into BIOS and change your "Boot Sequence" to boot from HDD-0 to Boot from HDD-1, If you have a installed O/S on HDD-1, this will also work. Do not forget to ' SAVE ' & Exit.

    good luck.
