Micheal Ray Richardson?

How many times was Micheal Ray Richardson, a cocaine-snorting NBA star, suspended before Comissioner David Stern banned him from the NBA in 1986? Anybody know?

    Micheal Ray Richardson was suspended 8 times 7 for drugs and 1 for a fight he then went on to have a very high life in Europe playing basketball for the next14 years/'/
