I went to prom with one of my gal friends because I didn't have a date. It's not a big deal. I even went to a semi formal on my own...who cares!

Ask around and see if you can get a small group together to go dateless. If you go with your one friend who is dateless, it almost looks like you are a couple and I'm guessing she's a girl so that would send the wrong message - a larger group would be better - and even better if there are some guys mixed in. The idea should be to dress up, go and have a good time - lots can happen and you get to see what other people are wearing and who they dance with, etc.

Have you considered going with someone who's in a different class or has graduated?

i mean it doesn't need to be necessarily a date to prom u can go with a friend or someone u know out of school lol but do not miss prom because its an experience that u will loose if u do lol good luck with finding someone or at least take a friend with u

well that would make me shaky and scared but no if you have the courage to go by yourself do it and have a good time and dance with a lot of people or if you really liked your crush and he said no then ask a another guy at school and find the sexiest dress and act like you are into the guy you go with and i bet the crush will get jealous by the middle of the night trust me i love doing pay back . be strong ,.

Of course you can go alone!!!! Dont miss your prom because you dont have a date!! You will always regret that you missed it and who knows, you could get to dance with your crush or someone better!!

Sure you can go by yourself but if all your friends have dates you may feel left out. So the crush said no big deal pleanty of fishes left in the sea ask someone else.

its ok to go to the prom by yourself.. like they say its alot more fun to go by yourself then with someone you dont know..or go with on of your friends that dont have a date to the prom.

You can definitely go to prom date-less! You'll have more fun because you won't be tied down to one person all night. You'll be able to dance with anyone you want and come and go as you please. Have fun!

just think of it this way- if u go with a guy then the whole night u have to be attached to him! u have to dance with him, drink punch with him, eat with him! but if u go with one of ur friends then u won't be attached to someone the whole time! and if u go with a guy ull be wanting to impress him the whole time- with ur friends u can just be urself!
