Browser history question?
You know how you can go to history and right click on any site and either Collapse or Delete. How can I disable this feature or either disable the History tab? I think I have emplyees that are abusing the system; If you suggest passwords, please be specific, Im new to networking. Thx.

By deleting indiviual sites that they dont want me to see that they visited......

do u mean u want to block employees using the internet ,get a good firewall program in the compters and set up something like parental control and only you know the passwords as you are vonly new may i suggest you ask around your friends or get a pc expert to see what they can do to help you ,it saves tinme and confusion

Go to your control panel and click on account users. You should be able to disable or at least block the users that you think are abusing the account. If you want to know who is using the account you should be able to do that to by putting in a pass word. Hope this helps

How about if you just set the IE history to only save for one day? You could also make the "history" directory read-only - that way it couldn't save any of that stuff.
How about if you require that everyone have their own user account on the system, and that they have to logout if they leave the console? That way, the only history they see is their own.
BUT, how are people "abusing" the history listing?

as like nutty girl says, if you have addministrative control , of your net you can control what is delited so that you can see what what your employees are doing on the the net. its called spyware and its legal! on your system ask your " IT" guys to set it up . ding, got ya!

open your browser and make right click on the toolbar and go to customize command bar then go to add or remove commands
