How many think that Gore is full of bull**** when he talks about global warming, and his blaming us for it?

If Mr. Al Gore was really concerned then why does he use on average $1200 a month for his electricity? Why does he fly every where he goes? I'm sorry I think that it is like Hillary when she says it takes a community. For Hillary, it takes a family, and to Gore it takes not just talking the talk, but walking the walk.

Update:

As I am not a Democrat or Republican, I am a libertarian so I have nothing to say to you politically, but I have done a little research about this, and tend to go along with the findings of the CATO Institute, and they don't disagree with the fact that we have had some global warming but they lame the El Niño, Further more just recently there were scientists that went to the Antarctic and had taken wet suits so that the could swim in some of the fiords, they got there and were surprised to find that they couldn't swim,.....no open water. The lead Climatologist in Canada has said the same thing as the CATO institute.

And to my American Indian Friend I agree, we were told a lot of things and cheated even more, but keep in mind that our fore fathers hunted the game in the north when there was very little snow or ice.

Update 2:

Some one has suggested that Al Gore is a Knight in shinning armor, let me see he got out of the Army early to attend a school of divinity, because he had a, "call to the ministry," after a year he got tired of that and changed to some thing else so that he wouldn't have to go back to finish his time in service. Is this where he is the Knight? OK I guess not. Was it when re fused to be paid while in the Congress? Maybe not. Then was it when he was the V. P. and traveled at his own expense and refused a pay check? NO? Or is it that he has no credibility, certainly no more than you or I to speak out about global warming and our destruction of the climate. All of the computer models that are used to figure out what is going to happen have been proved incorrect.

Update 3:

One last word, the same person that said he was a knight in shinning armor said that he is a crusader against the Oil industry. horse muffins then just why did he take money form them when he campained, oh, oh, I get it, he didn't think he got enough and now is getting even,........OK

Watch and see how the radical environmentalists rush to defend Gores obvious hypocricy with arguments of 'carbon off-sets' and other such nonsense.

It is hypocricy pure and simple.

Mr Gore wants EVERYONE to alter their way of life because HE believes it is for the good of the planet.

In typical limosine liberal fashion, when he says 'everyone' he means everyone EXCEPT himself and his elitist colleagues.

Every day more and more scientists that once supported Gores theory (and that's what it is - a theory) not only are questioning the 'science' of it, but they are openly questioning Mr Gores blatant exaggerations in explaining the theory.

The remedy Gore suggests is in essense the largest tax increase on working people in the history of the world.

Mr Gore - and his liberal cronies - are true believers in one thing - massive, intrusive, controlling central government.

That's what this is all about.

If you showed any successful businessman the cost involved in Mr Gores proposal (assuming it was 100% successful) compared to the result achieved, they would laugh at you.

    Massive cost to minimal result.

Why are we even taking this semi-seriously?

I love that story about Gore's energy use. He talks about the need to reduce energy consumption, but never apologized for using an exhorbitant amount of energy in his own home. Blaming global warming on America when we only cause a tiny fraction of it is laughable. The man just wants to be on a soapbox plain and simple and doesn't even mind if that makes him a hypocrite

In the last week NASA has released info that the Mars ice cap is melting. Perhaps we left the rovers motor running. Also has the temp of Pluto ( you remember the recently disgraced planet ) increased .So if the temperature has risen in all 8 ( 9 ) planets how is it that only on one is it human caused. I know that this must be hard to grasp but has anyone thought the sun getting warmer might have something to do with it. Just guessing. Also can we talk about anything without someone blaming Bush

Anyone who has ANY common sense realizes that "global warming" is the socialists trojan horse. In fact, they admit it.

As far as Gore is concerned, he's the biggest hypocrite in the world.

Last week, he refused to take this simple oath "I pledge to consume no more energy for use in my residence than the average American"

Here's how much energy Gore uses at home vs. the average American. check it out and prepare to be shocked.

If you listen to all the information that is presented by Al Gore on global warming you will see the that all there is mostly scientific fact of the natural evolution of the planet and this is the first time that someone has used this natural event to stop some damaging effects of the burning of the fossil fuels and promoting the cheaper and more efficient technologies of solar power we have had since the 60's. Actually I disagree and believe that Mr. Gore is using a very ingenious tactic to force the oil companies to back off and release their hold on the technology using the saving of our planet as a public global platform of concern. The leverage is great and even if the $3.15 a gallon for gasolene gouging oil companies could attack Al Gore, how would it look for Big Business to do anything to harm a man that is deeply concerned about the damage to our planet and its longivity. They would resemble terrorists if they were to campaign against Mr. Gore and his concerns. There is nothing in cause and effect or the greenhouse effect being the culprit for global warming but in the interest of the human race, he is single handedly forcing publically the release of technology that will kill the oil companies overtime and with a platform that will allow us to participate in energy that more efficient and so plentiful that all the cost is primarily in the technology to convert the energy to fuel. Al Gore has helped people obtain what has been kept from them for 40 years all in the name of the dollar. Stop criticising the man for doing a job that the president of the United States could not do because they had him killed and he was John F Kennedy, the 36th and when he stood up against the oil companies it ended on the grassy knowl. I think Al Gore is a leader and is a very smart and compassionate man and holds the peoples best interest at heart. Before you bag on the man and throw rocks look at the results of what he is doing and the direction taken. By cleaning up the planet the air will be healthier to breath and he has lowered our fuel cost and let us, by design, participate more cheaply as opposed to continual raping of the public in rising utility and fuel cost. I for one would vote for the man as the leader of my country. He has done the impossible with the natural and to benefit the very people that throw stones at him. Sit back, relax and try not to persecute the teamates that are trying to help you and me and protect us from those who steal from us by limiting our options and charging for their product as the only source. To right a moral wrong takes the intelligence of someone to leverage a global event requiring participation to their benefit and not having to worry about the monster of big business. The mans heart and commitment and efforts are in the right place. What have you taken on in the last year to improve society or promote financial improvement for everyone in the country?

"Deadly" correct. I'm 46. I've seen a dramatic change in my years. Used to be able to drive our cars on the river near

my town and spin around, ice skate, have bonfires on the

ice. Never any ice at all anymore. That's the usual human condition. Deny something serious till it's too late. It's easier.

My ancestors denied what the white man's ancestors would do till it was too late. Katrina Victims denied what was heading their way till it was too late. No difference here.

    Till it's too late.

I do not think he is full of bull****, but I do think he is a hypocrite!

For those of us actually walking the walk, he did a good deed by bringing this issue to the mainstream...BUT he must be held accountable too. There is no way he needs THAT much electricity - he doesn't need to be flying around on private planes, nor driving around in limos and SUVs! There are not enough 'credits' available to buy to cancel out his footrpint!

Al Gore pays extra to use alternative energy to supplement his big house. Your rumor was proven to be a myth and was put to bed.

Spread your wings and find accurate information on the facts of global warming. Denying it won't make it go away. The eskimos and greenlanders have been traveling south to tell us of the alarming melting that is upsetting their ability to live. It's time for people to shed politics, respect their fellow man and start fighting to save energy.
