  • Ever notice what happens to the rest of deer season if you shoot a deer in the food plot?

It seems to me that every time I kill a deer in the food plot that that is the last deer I will see in that plot for the rest of the season. I am making the assumption that the killing has left the sent of blood around. Has anyone found anything to eliminate the smell of blood around a feeder or feeding area? My wife suggested that I try bleach, frankly I don't know whether it would work or not

  • Is it not discriminatory to create a all girls school with public funds?

Dateline; San Antonio, New All Girls School with public funds!

My children are grown but I still pay taxes and I feel like if I am going to pay for children to get an education then it should not be segregated. Each child needs to earn a living. This is discriminatory, and frankly I am appalled.

Knowing this would you still be in favor of our withdrawal?

  • What do you think about Texas Statehood?

The United States wanted to annex the Republic of Texas into the United States, and did so even though it was never ratified by the people of Texas

some may feel like this should be listed as a Political question, but when we spreak of the Alamo we are talking the Republic of Texas and then statehood, and it is darn interesting if you are going to see the Alamo. This can be shared with children. They will remember this with Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, Jim Bowie, and the rest involved in Texas independents, and their trip to the Alamo.

While it is dark or getting dark I listen to music on a "walkman" during the day light I watch movies on a DVD player. It is a given that you are still paying more attention to hunting than the movie.

  • With the up coming election, If there was a strong Libertarian, Like Ron Paul from Texas would you vote for hi

I don't agree with everything that Ron Paul says but he is a darn sight better than most of the Congress people that are in Congress now, and still maintains a medical practice at his home in Texas. unfortunately he isn't my Congress man but I know that if I have a real problem and find my Congress man unresponsive that I can call on him . He is not a friend and I have never met him nor do I work for him.

  • How many think that Gore is full of bull**** when he talks about global warming, and his blaming us for it?

If Mr. Al Gore was really concerned then why does he use on average $1200 a month for his electricity? Why does he fly every where he goes? I'm sorry I think that it is like Hillary when she says it takes a community. For Hillary, it takes a family, and to Gore it takes not just talking the talk, but walking the walk.

  • Abortion, yes or no?

I support abortion, and not just for rape, incest, or mother's life. Ladies relax, I am not judging. I want you to give me a reason why Tax dollars should pay for it. I have Christian friends that say, "I don't want my tax dollars paying for it. My tax dollars are mine and if they use my tax dollars then they make me part and parcel of the abortion." Just as I support your right, to make this decision about your body, I also have to try to relate to them and their side. Don't fool yourselves into believing that the abortion fight is over.

Before you make the stupid statement, that you think that I am anti abortion I will tell you that I am old enough to be father to some of you and grandpa to the rest. I well remember the days of no illegalized abortion. I have been in the medical field most of my adult life, I have a wife, daughter, daughter in-law, and granddaughters and have no wish for them not to have a reasonable choice.

  • Is Oprah a racist?

When Oprah opened her school for girls in Africa, she was asked a question that she wasn't prepared to answer. The question was, "Why don't I see any white girls?" Her response was with distain on her face was, "Oh,.....I don't care about no white girls." It is obvious that this was not an answer that she really wanted to make, and I have not seen it again but just the live feed and that was it one time. I found this very disconcerting, the school that she built was not only with her dollars but with dollars from the angel network also, and a lot of them are White, Asian, Indian dollars as well. In this day and age we don't need wedges between races, ethnicity, or religions, we are going to have to band together as never before, if we are to defend ourselves againt the enemies that have vowed to kill us. You don't have to take my word for it just google it and then you will understand.

  • Should the military have women in combat rolls?

I have no reason to believe that a female couldn't do the job. How ever with my own eyes I have seen males and females in the same area trying to do a job, and two of the males become very interested in the female in their section creating a problem. Combat requires 110% of your brain power and when you have two males battling over a woman this takes away and will ultimately cost a life. An answer like a woman has no control over a males testosterone is not a good answer, in combat we rely on the factor. Unfortunately I have a real concern for any female that would be taken captive by an enemy and what they might do to her. I have a wife and a daughter.

This is not a question or feminists or a chauvinists, but a question for realists.

  • Why do Atheists constantly belittle and provoke Christians?

I answer a lot of questions in here and I find that there are a lot of Atheists that can't seem to accept that there are folks that believe that there is a Christ Jesus. For some unknown reason, known only to them they feel that they must mock Christians. I have come to the conclusion that what is really going on is that they understand that Christians have a fundamental belief, and are trying to say that they have such a belief, but if that is the case they believe not even in self. Atheists, please hear us, we know that your eyes are blind, and that your ears are deaf, to Jesus Christ, for this we are sorry, but we aren't in here belittling you. When you get a savings response it is in answer to your question. We will let you have your choice but we would like very much for you to understand that it is words that you use that make a mockery out of our choice, but you feel like it is your choice to violate our choice.

  • Should we keep the illegal aliens or send them packing?

A great argument for keeping them is that they do jobs that no American wants to do. This is not true they do work that Americans don't want to do at nothing wages. Example; a cabinet maker in New England makes about $35.00 an hour, and south Texas he makes $8.50 an hour making it a job that no American can afford to do. I have no problem with legal aliens as they have to compete at the same level as all other Americans. I am married to a foreign national, and so is one of my sons. Do not confuse one with the other.

  • Why do women feel so threatened when a man wants a say about abortion?

There are many men that feel like there should be legal abortion. Just as there many men that feel like there should be legal abortion, there are women that don't think that it should be. So Why the threat? Further more there are many Christian both men and women that feel like there should be legalized abortion, not all agree with the President and his buddies?

  • Should a contract with the government be just one sided?

There are thousands of men and women that retired from the military service of our great nation that were promised free medical care and treatment for themselves and their families. Now that free Medical Care and treatment is a situation where if you don't pay you won't have medical care. I find it not fair to do the work and then the Government says we don't have a contract. The Officers and senior Noncommissioned Officers promised all enlisted and for that matter Officers as well that if we would stay in service that we would have free care for self and family. My comrades and I stayed in the service doing our country's bidding, and when have filled our side of the contract the government says that we never had a contract. Does that not qualify as a verbal contract? Besides not medical care that I was promised what am I not getting?

  • Why ask a question unless you really want the answer?

In here people often don't ask a question, but use a question to gain a comrade (s), while bashing Christians, whites, blacks, Lesbians, gays, men, women, etc.. One assumes that the person asking the question really wants a good answer. Maybe not the answer that they want but a good answer none the less.

  • Have you ever heard a more bitter sweet poem than this?

The following poem was written by a dying man on his death bed after three days of hanging on. His wife laid down beside him and as he felt her fall off to sleep, he picked up a note book and wrote these lines to her. Wow, how poignant, how sweet, how absolutely moving. Do you have this kind of love for your spouse?

    Softly As I Leave You

    Softly

    I will leave you Softly

    For my heart would break

    If you should wake

    And see me go

    So I leave you

    Softly

    Long before you miss me

Long before your arms can beg me stay

    For one more hour

    For one more day

    After all the years

    I can't bare the tears

    To fall So softly,

    so softly

    I will leave you

    I will leave you there
