Best answer... 9 months later! What is the longest time for you?

I often vote on unresolved questions, so I may have just given you that one!

I'm amazed at the age of some of the questions that I cast the deciding vote on - some are over a year old with no votes!

I've had best answers from about 4 months ago pop up every now and then. I also get a few random thumbs up for very old answers that I'd completely forgotten about!

Questions that have no votes or end as a tiebreaker stay in limbo until someone else comes along and votes on them! I use my 100 votes a day to clear up these very old questions.

I have had one at three months. As I understand it there can be a tie. Then MUCH later either the machine rounds them all up and allocates best or someone comes along and votes then it is resolved.

I thought they expired after 2 weeks or something. I mean the always tell me that I've questions to resolved and if i don't then the answer public will ha. ah its a funny world. x

God you are so boring. lol. I had one on here for 32 yeasrs and i still aint even got a reply. leave alone a bst answer. Ps that is all a joke as you know. just thought I would try to cheer you up although...........my answer is it was lost in the e-post. Same as everything else so please give me a best answer for this one.

a bit off the point but now im dying to know the question!!! maybe it took 9 months to find out the best answer! wasnt a "am i pregnant question" by any chance?

I had one yesterday which was 4 months old.I thought it quite odd.

on my account that got deleted , took 2 months. yahoo is messed up
