Im looking for an Older car.?
Im looking for an older American car i'd like it to be a chevy i dont want any answers saying an 03 cobalt im talking old but i also want it kinda cheap if you know were i could find something like that in California let me know i want something that doesnt need much work but something that i can work on im looking only to spend around 5,000 to get the car.
I cant have anything from the 80's in California because Smog law are hella hard on those years like someone said a 80's Monte Carlo i'd love to have one but smog is a BIT*H on em' thats why i want something older im just looking for suggestions on what to get i know were to find cars i just dont really know what i want. But if you know of a 94-96 Impala ss for sale thats cheap and in good conditon tell me cuz i want one so bad i wish my parents would have never sold our 95 it was bad ***. I know all the areas of rust to check for so thats not a problem just kinda wondering what i should get.
I want to know what ya'll think im 17 if i didnt mention that before

I like the mid 80's Monte Carlo SS cars. You could probably fine a nice one out in California for that kind of money. It may need a little work but it should be drivable and in good repair. Look at the 86 to the 88 years. They had good power and they are going to be going up in price. Try a Trading Post or Auto Trader. You can also look in the Classifieds under classic.

Make sure that you get a car with relatively low miles on the clock. A car's life is measured mainly in miles travelled as well as such things as corrosion and general looks and condition. Get someone who has experience to check the car out as some people wind back the odometer.
