Well, chickens are not covered as pets legally. It varies from state to state. Call your animal control (the dog pound) in your area for information. He obviously doesn't know how to kill a chicken quickly and humanely. One should cover the chicken with a burlap sack and quickly ring its neck. Plucking takes so long like2 hours, I don't think it's worth the effort. I'm sorry you had to experience this. He's just ignorant. Relax and take care of yourself.Everything will work out.

If the man knows what he's doing, the chicken won't cry long. I make it a point never to mess in another man's business when he has an ax in his hands. I'm sorry but a chicken has to die before you can have a fried chicken dinner.

no. we kill chickens to eat them, i like eating chicken, it taste good.
