Yes you can.
Any of the games Ruby Sapphire Firered Leafgreen and Emerald can trade to d/p. Insert it into the slot 2 in your DS, and Diamond/Pearl in slot 1. Turn it on and go to the D/P version. Then, go to the park (I think) and then select the GBA game and then select the pokemon u wanna send over. Then, go into the park and go into the grass and find your pokemon, catch them with the park ball.
