knowing catholics i cant imagine it costing less then 10k, but i am almost positive he is burried with it, and a new one made for the new pope as his promise to the church

No the ring is passed on and remade to fit the next pope. Since Frodo failed to destroy it in the cracks of Mount Doom the ring is eternal.
