Do you have oily skin when you don't wear the minerals, or just when you do? If you have oily skin (like I do), you can use a primer first, it will keep your skin from getting shiny so fast. Or do what many BE wearers do, put a light layer of oil-absorbing powder (like Mineral Veil) under the foundation, then another light layer on top (BE wearer call it a "MV sandwich") of the foundation. If you don't normally have oily skin, or if those methods don't work for you, it may be that particular brand of minerals.

i use mineral makeup and arbonne has a product called the personalizer. i recommend this for oily skin

Apply this oil absorbing convenient powder before

moisturizer to keep your matte finish intact day or

night. Trace minerals from oat and wheat dust off

unwanted shine and a light green tint helps balance

oily redness. Carry the compact with you for

quick touch-ups. I use this personally and this does keep your skin from

looking oily. This contains zinc which is an element that is used for

controlling oil. all the ingredients help in this product

    look at it here http://myladybeau.myarbonne.com/

    or ask this lady

i use it and its great and last a long time

    Hello,

It's best to use a good skin regime. Keep the skin clean & free of dead skin cells. This may not be oil it could be a build up of cells. Also a good moisturizer to soften the skin then apply the mineral makeup.

    Best Wishes

    Nona

Try Jane Iredale. I have combo skin and it works beautifully for me. I am light beige and wear the "satin" color.

I hated GloMinerals and Bare Escentuals bc of oil breakthru and it looked obvious or glimmery on the face in sunlight.

use moisturizer before you apply the foundation then use powder after or try an oil free foundation

It could be that your skin is detoxing. It may just take a while for your skin to adjust to being able to breath properly.
