Nutritional supplement dangers?

I'm 16 6'1" and about 150 pounds. I have recently begun to weight and endurance train for the swim season coming up next September. This involves 1-2 hours of cardiovascular training 5 days a week. I have begun to take a met-rx meal replacement plan containing some complex brand of protein which begins with a m or c. So my question is this, is there any danger in taking this supplement after days where I weight train (3 times a week).

If its strictly meal replacement with a little extra protein, its probably safe, except maybe to your wallet. You almost certainly get enough protein in your normal diet.

As for the herbs and other oddities that get stuck in these products, see link below for a discussion of possible dangers.
