Proper Court Attire?
This IS a special question. I am a teenager and I will be a teenage juror for the courts of the juvenile detention center. I was wondering can I wear my regular clothing(t-shirt and jeans) or should i wear slacks because i don't like to wear slacks much

This is your future. If you dress nice, get your hair trimmed, and look responsable, then it is possible that you will be let off your charges.
If you look like you could care less by dressing in casual wear, then you WILL be sent to juevie and you WILL be affected for the rest of your life. For example, it will be extremely difficult for you to EVER get a job. You can never be a teacher, lawyer, doctor, or any respectable profession. You will never get into a respectable college so you can get a good job.
If you do not dress nicely, you can ruin your life. So dress wisely: dress well.
You can rent a suit for a couple days for about $60. I recommend it to the fullest extent.

Anytime you go to court, whether as a defendent, witness, or juror, you are expected to show respect to the court (whether you feel they deserve it or not.) Something better than jeans like Dockers or dress pants, button down or polo type shirt. All clean and untorn of course.

For a juror, you don't need special dress like you would if you were a lawyer or a plaintiff. Just try to look neat and clean, don't wear anything that might be considered "offensive".

t-shirt and jeans will be fine, just make sure your shirt is tucked in, and no sagging pants.
