How long does it take for a c-section to fully heal?
It's been 5 months and the outside has healed. Inside is mostly ok but i get a sharp pain once in a while on average of once a day. More if i've got a cold, am tired, or excesized a lot. Any help on how long before i feel no more pain at all?

You will get to the point where you do not feel pain and your scar will fade dramatically. It will probably take about a full year for you to feel no pain after rigorous exercise. Try not to push yourself too hard as this will make more scar tissue. More scar tissue will result in a harder recovery next time, if you choose to have another c-section. That little scar doesn't look like much from the outside but they cut through a lot of muscle. Be gentle with yourself for a little while longer. :)

I have very little feeling around mine, and had little pain after about 6/7 weeks, nothing to consistent or painful.
I would call your Dr and ask them, there may be a possibility of an internal stich or part of a sutcher/staple left behind. I had that happen to a hand surgery, I would get a stabbing pain every time I put pressure on a cetain place in my hand, they got it out and I got better, very quickly. It's a long shot, but ask anyway.

I had a C-Section with my son, the cut healed after 6 week's, maybe before that, but I get sharp pains still. I asked my aunt, who had two C-Section's year's and year's ago, if her cut still hurt and she said from time to time it does, because it's the muscle that hurt's. I wish there was something to take it away!

You shouldnt be feeling any pain now-it should have completely healed. Mine took about a month. You should talk to your doctor about this. Remember to take it slow for a while with exercise too. You dont want to strain yourself.
