18 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoNaming twin boys.....?
My friend is pregnant with twin boys. She already has one named Connor Matthew but is having trouble coming up with a name for the other one. The middle name will be Michael and their last names will be Martin. I suggested Caleb but she wants something that's more uncommon. What do you think?
I also suggested Braedan but she already has a boy named Aiden so that just sounds silly.

shouldn’t that wimpy air hand dryer’s last instruction read, “Wipe hands on pants”?
23 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you think T.O. is overrated?
I'm a die-hard Bills fan but I really think Terrell Owens is WAY overrated. And do you think the Bills have a shot at the play-offs this year? I'm hoping this is the year that they renew their fans hopes after so many years of us saying "Maybe next year." Todays game was great!
12 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoRepost about a shy child?
I'm reasking this because I didnt get a lot of answers the first time around. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
My 4 yo daughter has been attending pre-K for 2 1/2 hours a day (1-3:30) since Thursday of last week. Before classes started, she was very excited about going to school and kept telling us she wanted to go to school, make friends, etc. Yesterday, her teacher asked me if she talks at home. I told her she does, most times we cant get her to be quiet at all. She asked because my daughter has not said anything at all to anybody in school and when the teacher asks her to do something, my daughter only smiles at her and doesnt do it. Shes not a defiant child, she listens to me and her dad. And she doesnt have a hearing problem. I was shy when I went to pre-school when I was her age, but I dont remember being shy to the degree that my daughter is. Im not sure if she will get used to it and start to open up more but I hope she does. Is there anything I can do to help her be more outgoing or to at least listen to her teacher? I talked to my daughter about the importance of listening to her teacher today. I explained that me and dad are happy that she listens and helps out at home, but when shes at school she has to listen to her teacher. She didnt seem too interested in what I had to say though. I plan to keep working on social interactions and whatnot with her but what are some good techniques to bring her out of her shell?

13 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoDoes a child have to be fully potty trained to attend Pre-K?
My daughter is 3 (4 in August) and will be attending Pre-K in Spetember. I plan to ask this question at her screening next Monday but I figured I might get some early answers here. She does use the potty sometimes but not all the time. Probably 50% of the time. We're working on it, but shes not fully trained yet so shes still in Pull-Ups most of the time. Her Pre-K classes will be 2 1/2 hours a day, five days a week. Does she need to be fully trained by September? If shes not, will they let us keep working on it with her while shes in Pre-K or will she be denied a spot?

There's a magazines section in Entertainment & Music but no books section. I think thats a little weird. Is there a books section anywhere? Or are books pretty much obsolete to most people?
I like books.
And I'm wondering why they wanted to post this in Health>Skin Conditions.
