It is nonsense. Someone many years ago wanted to literally accuse someone of something because his eyelid twitched. This was a big source of grief and upset for this individual as they were innocent of what he wanted to accuse them of based on the eyellid twitch. [true story] I think that says it all. Don't believe in such superstitions. There is no scientific basis whatsoever. Eye strain can cause eyelid twitching. There is usually some physiological basis for it.

Twitching of the eyelid is simply a tic, usually related to tiredness or tension.
With Dr Frank's typical reaction to mythology I will of course discount any explanations or myths that it is due to you being a witch or practising voodoo! ( and thus risk further inane criticism that I have failed to be open minded!)

It's a muscle spasm, nothing more. What you're suggesting is superstitious nonsense.
