Life's Abundance dog and cat food...?
Does anyone use Life's Abundance and, if so, what do you think about it? I am thinking of switching all my animals in light of the recent pet food recall. After doing some research this one is at the top of my list, but I am just not sure. If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to fill me in.
I feed my animals Nutro... and yes one of my dogs ate the recalled food. I really do not have any faith in Nutro anymore. These companies that sell expensive "premium" dog food should have a better system for making sure that the ingredients in their products is safe and healthy.

I've used this food in the past and my cats did very well. I've also used some of their treats too. This product was recommended to me by a breeder when I contacted her regarding the Ragamuffin I'd gotten from foster care. Since this is a new breed I wanted to make sure I was caring for him properly and that he was getting the best care possible. I used it for a while then switched to Euka. dry (which was what the foster fed him). Only because I could grab it at the store and that seemed easy. Although, auto delivery brings it to my door so how easy is that? Since the scare I've ordered Life's Abundance and plan to go on the auto deliver as soon as I figure out how often I'll need it. They do give free samples if you want to give it a try before you buy. Another good thing to do is print off the ingredients list and take it to your vet for his/her opinion.

Life’s Abundance Premium Dog Food says it's natural and has no by-products, corn, wheat, gluten or soy, artificial flavors, colors, sugars or chemical preservatives. I haven't used this brand, but as the wheat gluten is one of the suspected culprits, this sounds like it would be a good choice. They also state on their website that they are not one of the contaminated brands.
