Printing on a network printer?

Hi friends...am having 2 computers connected using a switch. Am able to connect to the internet and both these computers but unable to print documents on my printer HP3055. my printer is also connected to the switch. please help...

    Ok, turn the switch to accept input from computer A. Now use the installation disc on computer A . Repeat this for computer B.... NOTE: Most newer printer switches don't need to switch between computer A and B. So hook up both computers and run the installation disc.

    So do you see your printer on the network? If you browse network neighborhood?

    If you do, did you add it to your printers? Did you install the drivers?

    How did you determine that you are "unable to print"?

    Hi,

    I presume that you have properly configured the TCP/IP address of your HP 3055. Can you ping it from the 2 computers ? You can perhaps check this out, Start -> Run -> ping (ip address of 3055) -t and see if it responds. Also check if any software Antivirus/Personal firewall is blocking the print que to the 3055
