What is the best type of perm to achive this look?

Would a medium curl perm or a body wave do the trick.
I would just use a curling iron but I don't want to have it do it everytime

It's a body wave.
In the past, medium perms made my hair look like I stuck my finger in an electric socket.
Body waves are the in thing. Just like fake toenails, designed toenails and manicures, permed eyelashes, microdermabrasion facials, and bikini waxing.
Hey get started! It's almost Spring Summer break and you have to look good right away!

From what i saw in this picture I woud say say it is a roller set it is then comeb out and set in this style,as for a perm if you want this look permanently you will have to go for a soft perm and go fot the largest curlers so as to get these waves this you will achive after a blowdry or a set.good luck.

You need to go to one of those colored hair shops to get that kind of crap done.
