What thought do you need, the coach has won 9 titles between two different teams. He has coach the two best SG's that have eveer played the games and was able to make both of them believe in team work. He was able to control Dennis Rodman, this mans credentials are send to only " Red", the coach of the Boston legecy. Their is no toher coach in the NBA that should have that honor before Phil. He has had a bad couple season, so has Pat Riley, Larry Brown, Jerry Sloan, and Don Nelson. Phils bad season is still in the playoffs. He has the best playoff victory record besides Red. This man is hall of fame, no question

He only has 9 NBA titles. He may not be the best NBA coach ever, but he's pretty close. If you wish to say he won because of the talent around him, remember that Red Auerbach had Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, John Havelick, and KC Jones along with a lot of talented players in the Celtics dynasty. Jackson may be weird, but definitely should be a hall of famer.

If Larry Brown is a Hall of Famer, then Phil Jackson sure as hell is.
