on windows vista, how do you put the time on the desktop?

    on the bottom left hand side of your screen hold your pointer over the icons one of them will say show desktop click it .on the right side of the screen you should see some stuff come up.if a clock is not among them then right click on the plus sign at the top and select show gadgets.you will see the clock.just click on the clock and bingo...good luck

    you can't put the time on the desktop, but you can put it on the sidebar. click the little start orb thingamijig, and type in "Sidebar" Open it up, and use it.
