How do you get mold out of carpet?

I would try using one of those steam cleaners on the spot, that would at least visually remove it.

You can try applying some undiluted White Vinegar on the mold, this will kill the mold and remove the stain and make it smell clean and fresh again, then just leave it for about an hour after that just rinse with warm water but do not soak the carpet, after you have rinsed you just blot up with a clean white towel or any towel that does not bleed color, then rinse once more and blot again, then place a clean white towel over the area you have just washed and weight it down with a heavy object preferably something that does not rust, leave that over night, then remove the next day, and then sprinkle baking soda over the area and leave on for a few days then just vacuum up, your carpet will be as good as new again. You shouldn't have carpet in the pantry for that very reason. Just tear it out and put down some tile or a pergo floor, something easier to clean. There is food there and when there is food being able to thoroughly clean the area is the main priority.

try Mr.clean in a steam cleaner with hot water. If u have white carpet use regular bleach or u could try color safe bleach.
