Is a clothesline a solar powered clothes drier?

How much energy can/does it save at your house?

    Yes.

    The amount of energy saved is equal to that your standard dryer uses. For example my dryer uses 4 Cf. of gas per load so I save 8-12 cf of gas by hanging my laundry to dry. as for wattage it would be in the area of 360wph or so.

    Yes it is. It's hard to tell how much it saves, though, because usage seems to fluctuate a LOT at our house. The only problem we have is that the clothes seem a little stiff if we hang them while they're spraying chemtrails in the sky overhead.

    Yes, it is a solar-powered clothes drier. I haven't calculated how much it saves me, but it's probably quite a bit.

    Saves a lot of electricity thus saving a lot of emission (if thermal power) or nuclear fuel which can be used elsewhere for better purposes.

    If you are in dry hot climate they also provide some cooling effect.

    Not when it is raining...

    None you have to get off your ... Butt ... and hang the clothes.
