WWE writers didn't give Undertaker what he deserves?
They should really gave the "Main Event" to Taker 'cause he's the royal rumble winner..... but then, they will gave it to hbk and cena..... it's really not fair, they only gave taker a "title shot" instead of the "main event"......

they did it bc that match is totally predictable so why would they make it the last match when everyone knew that taker would win. and anyway hbk and cena are more popular anyway.

I think Taker should have been the main event. He was the only reason I cared about Wrestlemania this year. He is the biggest star the company has and has carried thte WWE for years. He shoudl be shown much more respect than he gets.

While an Undertaker fan, Batista had a lot more going for than the Undertaker. Keep in mind, that Vince Mcmahon personally felt Batista would be "the next superstar" along the lines of Undertaker, Hogan, and Andre. In fact, many people believed that the match would be a "Passing of the Torch" from one generation to the next.

They went with a SmackDown main event once since the brand extension (Lesnar v. Angle, WM 19), and it wasn't the same hearing Michael Cole and Tazz calling the match, as opposed to the Hall of Fame team of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. Is that why they didn't give SmackDown the main event? I doubt it, but it's why I'm glad they did.

i guess its because their from smackdown and they main event raw. it would of been better thought for undertakers match to be closer to the main event and not in middle of the show.
