How do you remove yourself from yahoo answers completely, including removing your answers and questions?
I think it has become meaningless as I notice a lot of people setting up to punch in to vote their own as best answers and Yahoo cannot stop it from happening ab initio without yahoo's manual intervention.
I'm simply fed up and want to move on without leaving behind clutter on the net.
However, as I feel the yahoo mail , groups and messenger have redeeming qualities, I do not want that to be deleted.
Thanks lone star.I have watched how many contributors who are good get wiped off by a few ... I think the best is not to answer any more. I don't think any one would miss me very much.
It been good and unless yahoo improves, it will go the way way Jeeves answers went.

Once a question has been resolved, or gone to voting----it belongs to Yahoo and you can't touch it. Until then, however, you are able to delete either of them.
When you came into Answers you had to agree to accept their terms-----one of which gave them the right to cancel your main Yahoo account if you were suspended for violations or if you personally opt out.
I think that's a little harsh and apparently, so do many others. I scanned through the Forum earlier this week and noticed this action is ---"being taken under consideration by the Yahoo team for amendment". Their words, not mine.
You could just ignore this site and not click on Yahoo Answers.

you'd have to go through and delete each one individually, then just quit using it. it'll disappear if you stay gone long enough. i'm not sure if you can delete your answers off resolved questions, though
