i`m addicted!!! HELP???

Sister! I hear you and I'm there with you!! (Though, for me, it's other categories.)

I used to have a life. I would only log on now and then. It took me 6 months to accumulate 10,000 points and reach Level 6 even though I get a fair number of "best answer" awards because I try to be thorough, informative and at least semi-interesting.

Then, March 17th, I reached Level 6 and became obsessed with seeing just how fast I could reach Level 7. Now my dog is ready to divorce me; my family and friends are planning an intervention; and I'm here wondering what I can do to score a few more "best answer" awards. Sad, isn't it?

I hate to say this and hope it doesn't offend anyone but I'm beginning to feel like an "answers wh*re." <sigh>

Damn,, I thought it was just me,, I go to the society and culture and then I find myself hanging out in the LBGT portion of Answers, there are some REALLY Fruity and very interesting ~ahem~ People,, But I guess I am hoping to maybe cross paths with a female that is fun and energetic and has more of a life than I do and can leave her computer now and then so that we can make out,

Well different people are good in different things. For example like you like the topic in Single & Dating. And some others like Food and Drink, Dinning out or even Business and Finance. Is good that you know what you are good at answering. So don worry. =)

i think i am too singles and dating have the most interesting questions out of all the topics and the most interesting people. when i decide to sign into Y/A i'll say to myself "okay i'll just answer a couple of questions then i'll go to bed" but then a couple turn into a few then i'll tell myself okay just one more and then i end up answering like a few hundred so yeah i think i am as well addicted. maybe we should check ourselves into a yahoo answers rehab facility before it's too late :)

well, I can relate. When I first started on here I wasted hours pouring over questions, often letting everything else slide. I had to get away from it to get control of my habit. I left last year in October, came back a few times, and have contributed more in the past week than I did in the last six months.

oh dont feel so bad for some this is just the most fun section .there are others who wouldnt come here because they love some other part of yahoo answers. honestly its really fun talking to people you dont even know who seem to care about you but if you want to control your passion just set time limitsf or youself and stick to them !!!good luck and we undestand !!
