Why does my bathroom door close by itself?

    It is probably out of plumb. Start by checking the hinges, making sure all the screws are tight. Sometimes the top hinge loosens after a few years of throwing bathrobes and towels over the top of the door. If the door is level and plumb, there might be a problem with the door frame or jamb, which you should have a licensed contractor look at.

    it can be out of level,,it can be an air draft ,,or a spook

    on the 2 guys below,,loose screws are in their heads,,,you can tie the door on with a rope and it will hang if the door is level and plumb

    forget the licensed contractor bit--find a handy man with references and save some money

    It's a bad hinge adjustment. The top hinge is futher out on the door frame than the lower hinge. This tilts the door and gravity opens or closes it.
