Dr. Strangelove...totally different from all of his other movies but still amazing. Peter Sellers and George C. Scott did excellent, and the dialogue is some of the best I have ever heard...Wonderful comedy.

His films have to be considered a best, to be one. I am not a fan of his style of directing, nor his dialog or plot choices. I hated Eyes Wide Shut, I even walked out. Clock Work Orange is a waste of film to me, as well.

    2001: A Space Odessey

    It's amazing.

Man's evolution guided by his use of technology. And that technology running amok in HAL, the most insidious homicidal maniac in movie history.

Eyes Wide Shut is a great movie but to appreciate the true extent of his vision, it has to be Barry Lyndon.

I don't know if it was his best, but I liked "Eyes Wide Shut." It was so bad that it was good and I bought a copy. lol
