How much will it cost to fix damage to my Dodge Caliber?
Yesterday afternoon while I was leaving work someone backed out of their parking space, right into my car. There is a lot of damage done to the car right now. There is a dent by the left headlight, the left headlight itself is half inside the car and half out. The half that is pushed out is to the point where my left front turn signal doesn't work. My fender is going to have to be replaced, and my hood is going to have to be realigned. Based on what I just said, can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much it will cost to fix the damage. Thank you.
The other person does have car insurance and hopefully her insurance will be paying for the repairs, but I just want to know for myself how much it would cost to get the repairs done.

well if they were backing out of the space and you were proceding down the lane, they would have something called the requirment of vigilance...meaning that because they are in reverse they must yeild to any and all oncoming vehicles. so you should not have to pay anything, you would need to file a claim with their insurance or for legal litigation.

Did the guy have insurance? Claim it on his insurance and get the money to fix it.
