New York City is a wonderful place to find both gothic and Romanesque styles. Try the Metropolitan Museum of Art for paintings, and St. Patrick's Cathedral for architecture. There's also a wonderful gothic church in Greenwich Village, with gargoyles and black spires, but I can't remember the name. It's near West 4th Street subway station, walk south towards Battery Park.

You might want to try visiting some of the major museum websites such as New York Metropolitian Museum of Art (http://www.metmuseum.org/Works_Of_Art/index.asp) or the Louve Museum in France (http://www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home_flash.jsp). Many museums have online tours of their collections.

Also if you are a student, your school library may have access to ARTstor, an online database of art images. It's a great resource and easy to use.

Seriously, have you tried searching, using "romanesque art pic" and "gotic art pic" !

I did through yahoo, and got several hits.
