Would you walk away from Millions of dollars to start an organization to help others in need?

John Wood was interviewed on Oprah this week. See details here: http://www2.oprah.com/tows/slide/200704/20070403/s...

John walked away from a life of luxury and a prominent position with Microsoft to start his "Room To Read" organization: http://www.roomtoread.org/index.html

If you answered yes to my question, how would you contribute to the world? Would you do the same as John did?

I would love to have millions of dollars for just that purpose.

I believe disabled children are neglected in our society, both socially and educationally..I would start a quality after school program for this population, which would include non-disabled peers. Also fund for quality educations, with approaches that WORK!

Yes! If given an opportunity like John, I'll try to help those disadvantaged to get clean & safe water, find cure for trouble some diseases or maybe just make sure that they get medicine.

Nope. I would get the millions of dollars now and help the other later. theres always people in need. everyday. You only get opportunities like that (to get millions of dollars) once in a lifetime.
