What is the best thing to use to get hard water spots off of a glass shower?
we used to squeegee every day, but we got the automatic shower cleaner...i think scrubbing bubbles makes it...it cleans the walls nicely, but it still leaves spots on the glass...

Ok now I'm giving up a trade secret here. Use some Orange glo wood cleaner& polish. With a damp cloth spray the orange onto the rag, and watch the water spots begone. Works on preventing those spots on alot of fixures.

When all else fails try using a straight edge like a razor blade. Careful, tho! You can scratch the glass! Never use comet or anything abrasive. Sounds like you're dealing with hard water stains. If you get it clean. You can use a squeegee after each shower and another good product for this problem is a 'daily shower cleaner' Many brands available....Lysol, Arm and Hammer, etc. It's mostly alcohol, and it helps the water to dry very quickly so as not to spot as bad. It also helps with the soap buildup and mildew growth. You really don't have to clean your shower as often if you use it each time you shower.

50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar in a spray bottle.
Spray the glass, wiping with the towel to help break down the limescale deposits.
Rinse and squeegee then buff dry with a clean cloth. Spray the shower daily with the mixture and wipe it down to help prevent buildup.
Good luck!

Ok you have to listen! I had hard water spots on my car windows! They were bad! I tried everything! I tried 0000 steel wool and vinager and it didnt even make a dent in it! i tried numerous water stain removers with no luck either! Till one day my Dad brought me some stuff he purchased from a home show. Its called Amaz. He bought it for his house windows and it worked great for the waterspots. I did my car windows with it and Wow! It worked great! Glass looks brand new now! I will use it for any waterspots now. Kind of expensive but its a small price to pay to see clearly. the site is amaz.biz

Vinegar and water and a dry towel wipe down after. Then if you want to help them not to come back, use Rainex, the kind you use on car windshields. It repels the water and the shiney clean stays longer.

Might be able to use a diluted CLR and water mixture, unfortunately, without a water softener, they will come back over time.

Use Bam. It works amazingly well on everything I've used it for. I've used it in the tub and it came out spotless.
