Stupid me trying to work my ipod?
How do I delete music from my Ipod?
I bet it's really simple, but I can't figure it out for the life of me, I just want to erase all my music and make a new list.

Followup: My ipod has the locked icon, so I can't delete music, itunes help does not say what to do, any help?
I reset it to factory settings, which erased all music. I will choose the best answer, thanks for all your help

If you use iTunes go to Help, down to iTunes help, in the index find deleting, then choose deleting items from iPod. i had troubles at first too. hope this helps.

Just go into your tunes, highlight all of the songs (click on them while holding down the CTRL tab) and then hit delete. That should do the trick.

click on your iPod's icon (on the left in iTunes) and select the songs and hit your delete key. All music management has to be done in iTunes while your iPod is connected.

It is simple!
Just go into Itunes and check off the music you don't want on it.. re-sync ... and enjoy!!! :-)
